An Analogy

Calculus is like Street Fighter 3. I can learn all the special moves and combos until my thumbs give out. But while playing, my reflexes just don't work that fast. So even though I'm fighting the same dudes and I know the techniques to win, beyond a certain difficulty I don't stand a chance.

Edit: And now that my calc exam is over, another analogy. Ruby on Rails is like Kingdom Hearts 2. It's not really hard, but holy crap it's so much FUN!
