Congressman: We Should ‘Prevent Those Who Commit Adultery or Get a Divorce From Running for Office’:
Therefore, Mr. Speaker, I think we should expand the scope of the amendment to outlaw divorce in this country. Going further Mr. Speaker, I believe in fidelity. Adultery is an evil that threatens the marriage and the heart of every marriage, which is commitment.
Rep. Lincoln Davis is now my hero. Bloggers have been pointing out the stupidity of the "gay threat to marraige" argument for years -- I'm glad it's finally making it to the House.

Aw, and I thought we had a cool amendment coming up then. No divorces, adultery finally really looked down upon. Maybe people would finally "get" marriage again.
