Canada Trip Photos

Alrighty! Back from a trip to Canada this weekend. My first journey to our northern neighbor was for the cause of an anime convention, and boy was it a lot of fun. Pictures are online from the convention, as well as from our stopover in Niagara Falls. It was a totally awesome trip, even if it involved nearly 26 hours of driving for me over the course of the weekend. Kyle was a blast to travel with.

So, summer is up and rockin'! Who's doing what?

I feel like a genius. Just passing would have been good enough, but getting above a 3.0, while taking 4 lab classes, in two of Purdue's computer science weed-outs, makes me feel darn proud of myself. I can feel good about all the effort I poured into those classes. Now, onward! To summer!

I has a Gadget!

Updated: There's now an official todoist gadget. It's all badass and todoisty. You probably want that one instead of mine. :)

If anyone uses Todoist for keeping track of tasks and goals, you might be interested in this. I wrote a Google Homepage Gadget to interface with your todoist account. Currently, it lists all the uncompleted items on all your projects, and allows you to add new projects. Unfortunately, it doesn't yet allow you to complete items on the list - a feature I hope to implement soon. But at least all your projects / todo's are there for reference.

Update: While we're waiting for Google to add this to the directory, in order to add this gadget:

1. Go to google.com/ig
2. Click on "Add Stuff" in the upper right.
3. Click on "Add by URL" in small type next to the "Search Homepage Content" button.
4. In the box that comes up, type in: http://www.atevans.com/gadgets/todoist_gadget.xml
5. Click on "Add"
